Let's celebrate the end of a fantastic term by reading some of our published narratives.
Can you handle the spookiness?
Already, we are at week 8. It's gone mighty quick!
Last week we finally finished our autobiographies. Our paragraphs elaborated on our families, friends, interests and hobbies to name a few.
We are now moving onto horror narrative writing. We've been brainstorming ideas for characters, settings and events and have just about finished planning our own narratives.
Our spelling words for the last two weeks have been words to use in our narratives. Last week were emotions and feelings characters may have, this week's words are adjectives to describe characters or settings. We are excited to be writing a bloodcurdling tale for you! We'll post some here when they're done.
Last week we also created come find-a-words, all about nouns. We included common, proper, abstract, concrete, collective, singular and plural nouns.
We also really got into playing a time match-up game, matching analogue clock times to digital times.
Lastly, this Thursday the 22nd is PJ Day. Students are encouraged to come to school in PJs, bringing along a gold coin donation to be made to the Good Friday Appeal.
